Poisonous sweets were prepared to kill stray dogs by the municipal administration


Karachi: A three-year-old boy has been killed while four others including a woman are in critical condition after eating poisonous sweets prepared to kill stray dogs in Korangi, Karachi.
According to details, the tragic incident took place in Karachi's Korangi area where three-year-old Moon Waqas lost his life after eating poisonous sweets kept in a motorcycle.
SSP Korangi confirmed death of a child and said that four others including a woman and a child, who also ate poisonous sweets, are said to be in a critical situation.
According to SSP Korangi, a municipal administration employee had put some poisonous sweet to kill dogs in the K-Area of Korangi, however, children playing in the area ate them.
Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Administrator Murtaza Wahab took notice of the tragic incident and ordered a strict action.
Police has launched an investigation into the incident to take strict actions against the culprits.
