Shahbaz Gill ‘did not deserve to be the special guest of the convocation’, associate professor wrote in her tweet

Lahore: Dr Fauzia Imran refused to take PhD degree from Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Political communication Dr Shahbaz Gill during the convocation of the Lahore College for Women University (LCWU).
The 16th convocation of LCWU was held today and Shahbaz Gill attended convocation as the chief guest of the second day.
Dr Fauzia, Associate Professor of Political Science in Post Graduate College for Women Samanabad, was supposed to be given a PhD degree but she denied to take degree from the PM’s special assistant. Her name was called on the stage but she did not come to get the degree.
Dr Fauzia shared a reason on social media micro-blogging website twitter for not taking a degree from Shahbaz Gill. “Shahbaz Gill did not deserve to be the special guest of the convocation, so I will not receive a degree from him,” she wrote in her tweet.

To a question about female professor refused to take degree from him through tweet, Shahbaz Gill said that there is democracy in the country and everyone has the right.
On the other hand, the college principal said that the Twitter account of the female professor was hacked. “The female professor did not say anything like that,” he added.
