A latest report on WABetaInfo states that the popular messaging application WhatsApp is developing a feature update that will animate the heart emojis when sent in any chat.

WhatsApp is now working on animating all heart emojis. Yes, as per a tweet by WABetaInfo, a new update is planned to support animating all heart emojis on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS. "WhatsApp is working on animating heart emojis! A new update is planned at a later date to support animating all heart emojis, on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS," it tweeted.

WhatsApp users must have noticed when they send red heart emoji, it starts to beat. This is done with the help of animation. However, this animation is only there for the red heart emoji as of now. But now, the messaging application is planning to introduce the same animation for all other heart emojis.

As per the information provided by WABetaInfo, the same feature has been already added on WhatsApp Web/Desktop, including stable updates. However, it needs to be noted that this feature is under development and will be released in a future update for beta testers.

WhatsApp Voice Calls Interface

Apart from animating heart emojis, WhatsApp is also working on a new interface for voice calls. The messaging application is planning to redesign the interface while placing voice calls on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS, for a future update, WABeta informed via a tweet.

"After introducing the possibility to join WhatsApp calls after the call starts, WhatsApp is now working on a redesigned interface when you place a voice call," it said.

Sharing a screenshot, WABetaInfo said, "As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp is redesigning the interface for a future update in order to make it more compact and modern, organizing the available space: the new redesign will look nice especially while placing group voice calls."

"Even if the screenshot was taken on WhatsApp for iOS, WhatsApp is planning the same redesign for a future update of WhatsApp beta for Android as well," it added.
