Chicken price witnesses increase of Rs11 per kg
Common man is facing difficulties due to the inflation
Lahore: The chicken price witnessed an increase of Rs11 per kg on Saturday, increasing the price to Rs262 per kg.
The prices of eggs reached to Rs187 per dozen. The wholesale rate of live chicken was fixed at Rs173 per kg and the retail rate was fixed at Rs181 per kg.
On the other hand, the rate of farm eggs increased by Rs1 per dozen and reaching to Rs187 per dozen. While the rate of farm egg box has been fixed at Rs5,490.
Common man is facing difficulties due to the inflation. An increase has also been witnessed in the prices of several vegetables, including tomato, green chili, onion and potatoes.
On the other hand, the vegetable vendors say that since prices were high at the wholesale market, they were forced to sell at higher rates too.
