Lahore: Rain in the provincial capital Lahore and its adjacent areas and other cities of Punjab in the wee hours of Friday turned the weather pleasant while Met office has predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
As per reports, rain cased disruption of electricity in Lahore as several feeders of the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) tripped, plunging various parts of the city into darkness.
Rain with strong wind was also reported in other cities of Punjab including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Kasur, Gojra and their adjacent areas.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain wind-thundershower associated with gusty winds in Islamabad, upper/central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during next 24 hours.
