Veteran film actor Ejaz Durrani passes away at 88
Karachi: Iconic actor Ejaz Durani, most popularly known for his portrayal of ‘Ranjha’ on the silver screen, died at the age of 88 on Monday, following a terminal illness.

His funeral prayers will held near Garden Town after Zuhar prayer.
Ejaz won millions of hearts through his remarkable performances in around 150 Punjabi, Urdu and Pashto films over four decades.
He is most popularly known for the portrayal of Ranjha in the film Heer Ranjha thatb was released in 1970. He is especially known for portraying in the films, Punjabi culture folk heroes from the epic love stories of the Punjab.
Moreover, he was the first hero of Pakistani cinema who had a diamond jubilee film to his credit.
Ejaz married actress and singer Noor Jehan but later they divorced.
