Chemicals factory in Karachi catches huge fire
The scope of fire is said to be large as firefighting has been continuing for the last three hours
Karachi: A fire broke out in a chemicals factory near Paracha Chowk, Sher Shah on Wednesday night, rescuers said.
Chief Fire Officer said at least nine fire vehicles are struggling to extinguish huge flames which have engulfed a large area. The incident was reported around 9:15pm.
Rangers personnel are also assisting the firefighters who are reportedly facing difficulties in firefghting.
The factory manufactures pesticides and anti-insect sprays.
