Chinese worker dies, 11 locals faint after toxic gas leakage in Multan's factory
The cause of gas leakage is under investigation


Multan: A Chinese worker died while 11 others including Pakistanis got fainted after toxic gas leaked in a factory situated at Multan Industrial Estate on Saturday, rescuers said.
The affected were shifted to Nishtar Hospital.
Accoridng to rescuers gas engulfed a room near blower room of the factory. Police identified Chinese national as Shen Zong.
Pakistan labourers who were admitted to the hospital have been identified as Sultan, Hamid, Osama, Mehtab, Fayyaz, Nauman, Zafar, Sultan, Muzamil, Tanveer and Qasim.
Forensic teams and police gathered necessary evidence from the scene and launched invetsigation to determine the "negligence".
Senior officers reached the hospital to look after treatment process.
