Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh


Islamabad: Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while cloudy in upper parts and north Balochistan during the next twelve hours.
However, light rain and snow are expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, north and north-western Balochistan.
Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad and Muzaffarabad 4 degree centigrade, Lahore 9, Karachi 15, Peshawar 6, Quetta 5, Gilgit 3 and Murree 2 degree centigrade.
According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, very cold and partly cloudy weather is expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramula and Leh and cold and foggy weather is likely to prevail in Jammu.
Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar 2 degree centigrade, Jammu 8, Leh -12, Pulwama, and Anantnag 0, and Shopian and Baramula -2 degree centigrade.
