Quetta: An explosion was reported in the Sibi district of Balochistan on Tuesday (January 18) however, there were no casualties.
Soon after the blast reported, a heavy contingent of security forces reached the area and cordoned it off to carry out an initial investigation.
Reportedly, five people sustained injuries.
The bomb exploded when the Quetta bound Jaffar Express train was passing through the area. The explosion, allegedly remote controlled, derailed 3 to 4 coaches and locomotive.
The nature of the blast is being ascertained.
