Mirpur: Seven educational institutions have been closed in Mirpur city of Azad Kashmir after emerging positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) on Tuesday.
According to the details, a notification has also been issued to close seven educational institutions for the next ten days.
In this regard, Mirpur Deputy Commissioner (DC) Deputy Commissioner Dr Umar Azam informed that six out of seven educational institutions where Corona cases have been reported, are public institutions adding that one of educational institution is a government girls’ school while other five are boys’ schools.
As per the Mirpur DC, the State College of Nursing has also been closed due to positive cases of COVID-19.
