Six killed as passenger van plunges into drain in Lahore
Family in van was a resident of Chungi Amar Sadhu and returning home from a wedding in Raiwind
Lahore: Six passengers killed and several others were injured when the van carrying passengers plunged into a drain in Kahna area of Lahore on Sunday.
According to police, the accident took place due to a collision with a tractor-trolley. The dead included four children and two women. The dead included 45-year-old Naeema Bibi, 35-year-old Rukhsana, 8-year-old Faizan, 6-year-old Sufyan, 12-year-old Zain and 9-year-old Ali Hassan.
The victims included four children and two women. The family in the van was a resident of Chungi Amar Sadhu. The victim's family was returning home from a wedding in Raiwind. Police and rescue teams are on the scene, rescue operations are underway.
