More rain with snow over the hills is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Punjab, Gilgit


Islamabad: Rain with snow wind-thunderstorm occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while snowfall occurred in Malam Jabba and Murree.
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
However, more rain with snow over the hills is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.
Dense fog is likely to prevail in upper Sindh, plain areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during morning and night.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad and Peshawar 8 degree centigrade, Lahore 9, Karachi 10, Quetta -4, Gilgit 4, Murree -1 and Muzaffarabad 6 degree centigrade.
According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of rain-snow is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Anantnag and Baramula, cloudy chances of intermittent rain with snow in Pulwama and Shopian and foggy condition in Jammu.
Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag and Baramula 0 degree centigrade, Jammu 8, Leh -4 and Shopian -1 degree centigrade.
