Karachi: Karachi Kings President Wasim Akram, Peshawar Zalmi skipper Wahab Riaz and batter Haider Ali have been tested positive for novel coronavirus Tuesday (January 25)—just two days before the start of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) seventh season.
As per details, the seventh edition of PSL is set to begin on January 27 at the National Stadium in Karachi. However, several players and support staff have already contracted the deadly virus.
Franchise players and player support personnel continue to check-in at the designated hotel after testing negative during pre-arrival testing.
