PM Imran Khan wishes Dr Mahathir Mohammad for speedy recovery
Dr Mahathir Mohammad is currently admitted at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur.
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday wished former Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahatir Mohammad for his speedy recovery.
PM Imran Khan wrote on his official twitter account, “My prayers and good wishes go to my friend Dr Mahathir Mohamad for his speedy recovery “.
Dr Mahathir Mohammad is currently admitted at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur. He has been hospitalized third time in a month due to his health condition.
On Tuesday, Mahathir Mohammad’s Daughter Marina requested nation to pray for his health and not to be worried about his condition.
It is pertinent to mention that the 96-year-old Mahathir Mohamad underwent two heart bypass surgeries in 1989 and 2007.
He was two time Prime Minister of Malaysia, first July 1981- October 2003, second May 2018 - March 2020, making him the Country’s longest-serving prime minister.
