Dry and cold weather to prevail in most parts of country

Islamabad: Mainly very cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

Dense fog is likely to prevail in upper Sindh, plain areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during morning/night hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:  

Islamabad 2 degree centigrade, Lahore 7, Karachi 12, Peshawar 5, Quetta -3, Gilgit 4, Murree -1 and Muzaffarabad 3 degree centigrade.    

According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, very cloudy and dry in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula, cold and foggy weather is likely to prevail in Jammu.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Pulwama and Anantnag 0 degree centigrade, Jammu 6, Leh -10, Shopian and Baramulla -1 degree centigrade.
