Chris Brown sued for drugging, sexually assaulting woman on yacht
She is seeking a jury trial and $20 million in damages from the R&B star.

Los Angeles: Famous American singer Chris Brown is being sued for rape in California, with his alleged victim claiming he drugged her and attacked her on a yacht.
According to details, a Los Angeles woman filed a $20 million lawsuit, accusing Chris Brown of drugging and sexually assaulting her shortly after she met the singer at a party in 2020—thrown by Sean “P. Diddy” Combs in Miami.
She is seeking a jury trial and $20 million in damages from the R&B star.
As per the civil suit— filed on Thursday, Brown invited the woman — described as a choreographer, dancer, model and musical artist — to the yacht shortly after she arrived in Miami on December 30, 2020.
When she arrived, she boarded a yacht and accepted Brown's offer of a drink as they discussed her career.
After a second drink, the woman suddenly began to feel disoriented and physically unstable, according to the lawsuit.
The accuser further added that Go Crazy singer allegedly dragged her to a bedroom and sexually assaulted her.
The woman, who identified herself as Jane Doe, has experienced "dramatic mood swings, loss of appetite, panic attacks and has engaged in self harm," said the lawsuit.
The filing said she saw Brown twice after that encounter.
Writing on Instagram, Brown said: "Whenever I'm releasing music or projects, 'THEY' try to pull some real bulls–t," and included a blue cap emoji, which is used as slang for lies.
In 2009, Chris Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting singer Rihanna when the pair were dating— an incident that made headlines around the world after a photo of her bruised face was released.
A woman also accused the vocalist of raping her in a Paris hotel room in 2019. However, he denied the allegation and filed a defamation complaint against the accuser. No charges were filed.
