Salman Khan wins 'Personality of the Year' award in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Renowned Bollywood star Salman Khan's fame continues to rise worldwide as he recently received the Personality of the Year award in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In one of the great nights of Arab entertainment industry, the 2022 Joy Awards saw one of the biggest gatherings at the Baker Al Sheddi Theatre on Riyadh’s Boulevard on Sunday.
During the prestigious event, over 20 eminent artists were honoured in various fields, including music, film and television.
The three-hour ceremony was organised by Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority and aired live on MBC 1.
The 56-year-old star turned to his official Instagram handle and shared a picture from the award function last Sunday.
Taking the stage during event, Salman said a few words while reflecting on his illustrious career.
“You saw me when I was about 12 years old and now I am 56. Today, my journey starts again because I like to entertain people. The growth that I see here in Saudi Arabia is phenomenal and everyone is so happy,” said Salman.
At the event, Salman Khan was wearing a black suit and along with the picture, he wrote in the caption, "My brother Bu Naseer (Bu Nasser)".
In the photo, he can be seen holding the prestigious award.

On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in the film ‘Antim: The Final Truth’. He will soon finish the remaining shoot of 'Tiger 3'— accompanied by Katrina Kaif.
