Rawalpindi: The Security Forces on Monday killed a terrorist during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district, the Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR) said.
In an official statement, the military’s media wing said that the IBO was conducted in the Dossalia area of North Waziristan district on the basis of intelligence information.
The ISPR added that during the intense exchange of fire, terrorist Mobeen alias Majrooh got killed.
Weapon and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorist, said ISPR.
The statement further added that the slain terrorist was involved in several operations against the security forces. The terrorist was also involved in targeted killings and kidnappings for ransom.
