Lahore: Renowned Qawwali maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on Monday paid tribute to late Indian rapper Siddhu Moose Wala on his first death anniversary during a live concert.

The popular Punjabi rapper had a significant fan-base in India, Canada, and Pakistan.

Siddhu Moose Wala was remembered by his village and his mother attended prayers held in his honor. Fans and fellow congressmen also expressed their homage to the late singer.

The case of his murder remains unsolved, with his father criticizing the government for not delivering justice.

Lahore: An anti-terrorism court in Lahore rejected a plea for a medical examination and family visit of Khadija Shah, a PTI supporter and fashion designer, who is the prime suspect in the attack on Lahore Corps Commander's House, originally known as Jinnah House.

ATC judge Abhar Gul announced the verdict, denying the requested permissions.

Earlier, Shah's counsel had requested the court to obtain her medical report and allow her family to meet her in jail.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan accused the government of mistreating his party workers, particularly women, in custody. Shah is accused of leading the attack on Lahore Corps Commander's House and has been in police custody since May 23.

Rawalpindi: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday summoned former federal minister and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in the Al-Qadir Trust case involving the settlement of 190 million pounds.

Rashid, a close confidant of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, has been directed to appear before NAB in person on Tuesday at 11 am.

The notice requires him to bring all relevant documents pertaining to the case. The case revolves around a settlement between the PTI government and a property tycoon, allegedly causing a loss of £190 million to the national exchequer.

The charges claim that the former prime minister and other accused unlawfully benefited from the agreement and acquired land for Al-Qadir University. Assets worth 190 million pounds were seized by Britain's National Crime Agency (NCA) from the property tycoon during the PTI government. The settlement was approved by then-prime minister Khan's cabinet in 2019 without disclosing its details. Following the approval, the Al-Qadir Trust was established in Islamabad.
