PCB announces match officials’ names for New Zealand series

Lahore: Pakistan cricket board (PCB) has announced match officials’ names for the series of five T20 international matches against New Zealand. 

According to the details, the first match of series between the two teams will be played at the Rawalpindi cricket stadium on April 18. The Kiwi team will arrive in Pakistan tonight.

However, for the Pak-New Zealand series five umpires including Ahsan Raza and Aleem Dar will supervise the matches of the series in which Asif Yaqoob, Rashid Riaz and Faisal Afridi are also included 

On the other hand, Andy Pycroft from Zimbabwe will perform his duties as International cricket council (ICC) match referee.

It should be noted that the second match of this T20 series will be on April 20.

US alerts Israel regarding Iran’s attack

Washington: America has alerted Israel that Iran can attack with full of cruise missiles.

American officials stated that Iran developed a large number of cruise missiles and drones in anticipation of a possible attack on Israel and can avenge the deaths of its representatives in the embassy.

President Joe Biden said that Iran will get a strong response in case of attacking on Israel because he is aware of Israel's defense and he will support it so he will not let Iran succeed in its goals.

It should be noted that Iran had determined to retaliate against the Israeli airstrike on its embassy compound in Damascus on April 1. In that attack one top Iranian general and six other Iranian military officers were killed.

Security forces operation in Buner

The clearance operation is going on in the area.

Buner: The security forces have done an intelligence base operation in district Buner. 

According to the details, in the operation the head of the terrorists’ gang was killed and two army persons were martyred. In accordance with the inter-services public relations (ISPR), the operation was done on the information of the presence of terrorists. Severe firing was exchanged during operation. 

ISPR stated that Saleem known as Rabbani the leader of high value target terrorists was killed while two terrorists were injured whereas lance naik Haseeb Javed and officer Mudassar Mehmood were martyred by the firing of terrorists.

The terrorist Saleem known as Rabbani was involved in several acts of terrorism against the security forces. The slain terrorist was also involved in extortion and target killing of innocent civilians.

ISPR said that the killed terrorist Saleem was highly wanted and the government had set a price of Rs50,00000 on his head. The clearance operation is going on in the area.

ISPR added that Pakistan's security forces are committed to eradicating terrorism and the sacrifices of army persons strengthen our resolve.
