Shahid Khaqan Abbasi announces to make new political party

Islamabad: Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has announced the formation of a new political party by emphasizing that the political parties have to stop calling each other corrupt.

According to the details, Shahid Khaqan was talking to the media on the current political situation. 

Former prime minister Shahid stated that the political parties are not talking about the country's problems that is why he is forming a new political party. 

He said that the other political parties do not discuss about the solution of the problems even in the current elections campaign there was no discussion on the issues of Pakistan. 

He claimed that the February 8 elections has become a controversial election and it will harm the country because when people lose confidence in the system then there is an alarming situation of the ruling government.

Khaqan Abbasi further said that the situation of the election is that even the winners have lost hence the only solution is that if all the stakeholders sit together then the country will move forward otherwise there will be more loss.

ECP issues presidential elections’ schedule 

Polling for the presidential elections will be held on March 9 from 10am to 5pm in the parliament house and the four provincial assemblies.

Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued presidential elections’ schedule which will be held on March 9.

According to the details, nomination papers for the presidential elections’ will be submitted by March 2 before 12pm. The evaluation of the nomination papers for presidential elections’ will be done by the Returning Officers (RO) at 10am on March 4.

Nomination papers can be withdrawn till 12pm on March 5 and the list of presidential candidates will be displayed on March 5 at 1pm and the withdrawal date will be March 6.

Polling for the presidential elections will be held on March 9 from 10am to 5pm in the parliament house and the four provincial assemblies.

Polling process starts for new speaker’s electoral process

Islamabad: The polling process has been started for the new speaker in the national assembly's session.

According to the details, this national assembly session has chaired by the speaker national assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. This competition is between Sunni Ittehad Council's candidate Muhammad Aamir Dogar and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's (PML-N) candidate Ayaz Sadiq.

Umar Ayyub, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and so many other political leaders are in national assembly’s session.

Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) protested against this assembly’s session and surrounded the speaker’s dice. On this Raja Pervaiz Ashraf stated that you can protest if you want to but proceed this assembly's session further. 

Umar Ayyub stated that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wanted to bring Imran Khan into the assembly and make him the prime minister of Pakistan because Imran reserved the actual rights for being the prime minister of Pakistan.
