Lahore: The farmers protesting the prices of wheat and the Punjab government on Wednesday to reach any consensus, sparking fear of more protests across the country.

Pakistan Kissan Ittehad announced protests in different districts tomorrow (Thursday), saying the farmers would bring wheat and cattle to roads to protest the behaviour of the rulers who had left the peasant community on the mercy of market forces.

Lahore: The tough competition is continued for the first-choice wicket keeper batters in national team before the announcement of the T20 world cup squad.

According to the details, young wicket keeper batter Muhammad Haris is disappeared from the eyes of selectors in mega event who played the aggressive innings against South Africa in the previous T20 world cup edition.

However, it is likely to give the opportunity to Hasib Ullah Khan as for backup in the absence of Usman Khan and Muhammad Rizwan.

The officials stated that to include Azam Khan in the team will be decided when his medical reports will come and it will be confirmed that he got over from the injury.

On the other hand, Pakistan cricket team’s selection committee will be announced the series team today (Wednesday) after the visit against England and Ireland in which so many changings can be seen by the officials.

IPP gets another shock

Islamabad: Former member provincial assembly and leader of Istehkam Pakistan party (IPP) Sadia Sohail Rana has left the party.

Sadia Sohail Rana stated that because of some personal reasons she is separating from the IPP now. 

It should be noted that earlier Sadia was a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).  

However, Sadia Sohail Rana had announced her resignation from PTI on May 12 the 3 days after May 9 last year.
