Texas shootings: Man kills family in suspected murder-suicide

The man identified as Kevin Milazzo (41) is accused of murdering his stepfather, William Mimms (68) his mother, Connie Mimms (61) his son, Joshua Milazzo (21) and a 4-year-old boy of his former girlfriend.
Milazzo was reportedly on the run and police intercepted him on a road, using a monitoring service to shut his engine off.
Authorities approached his vehicle to see Milazzo critically injured with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
According to Corsicana Police Chief Robert Johnson, a man and a woman were shot and killed in Corsicana. Two other people were also wounded in the shooting.
Shortly after the incident, police responded to another shooting in the nearby town of Frost where a man and a child were shot and killed, while another one was wounded.
When officers arrived at the home, they found the Mimms dead inside. Both victims were fatally shot.
The murder-suicide remains under investigation.
Police have not yet identified the victims hospitalized with gunshot wounds.
During a search of the home, police found two additional gunshot victims. Both suffered fatal gunshot wounds, police said.
The victims were transported by air ambulance to a Dallas area trauma center.
