Kulbhushan’s arrest proves India behind terrorism in Pakistan: Fawad Ch
Kulbhushan was the mastermind of terrorist acts in Karachi and Balochistan.
Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain Thursday said the arrest of serving Indian officer Kulbhushan Jadhav on this day six years ago in Balochistan once again proved that India is behind terrorism in Pakistan.
On his official twitter handle, the Federal Minister said Kulbhushan was the mastermind of terrorist acts in Karachi and Balochistan.
Kulbhushan Jadhav—alias Hussain Mubarek Patel— an Indian spy and RAW operative was arrested on March 3, 2016, from Mashkel, Balochistan while traveling to Pakistan on an Iranian passport.
Jadhav found facilitating numerous acts of terrorism in Pakistan, which resulted in the killings of countless innocent citizens of Pakistan.
He was also involved in spying, acts of terrorism, and sabotage against the state of Pakistan on behalf of the Indian government.
On April 10, 2017, he was sentenced to death by the Field General Court Martial (FGCM).
India then approached the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against Pakistan for denial of consular access to Jadhav and challenging the death sentence.
After hearing both sides, the Hague-based ICJ issued a verdict in July, 2019, asking Pakistan to give India consular access to Jadhav and also ensure review of his conviction.
