David Warner and Shaheen Afridi face off in hilarious confrontation on Day 3 of Lahore Test goes viral as Aussie squares up to Pakistan star


Lahore: Rivalry took a backseat after Australia opener David Warner and Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi gave cricket fans something to laugh about on the third day of historic Test series at the Gaddafi Stadium.
According to details, a video on social media is taking rounds where David Warner and Shaheen Afridi can be seen indulging in a joyous stare-down contest.
The hilarious incident happened in the penultimate delivery of the day after Warner had hit Afridi for a boundary off the previous ball.
It looked like a confrontation was about to take place.
As per video, Afridi walked up towards Warner and stared back at him, and the duo then went stood inches from each other, with Warner comically looking up at Pakistani pacer. Both then burst out in laughter and went back to their places smiling.
The clip of Warner looking up to his brazen and taller opponent at stumps on day three shone a light on the spirit between the two nations.

Warner later posted a photo with Afridi in his Instagram story.
The Australian’s chief cricket writer Peter Lalor noted, “It looked ugly until they started laughing. Great spirit in this series. Best I’ve ever seen tbh”.
