Pak Army continues rescue and relief efforts in flood-hit areas of country
Teams are shifting people to safe places, providing cooked food and other facilities to the flood victims
Quetta: Relief operations of Pakistan Army are ongoing in flood-affected areas across the country, said a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations Monday.
According to ISPR, army troops are engaged in rescue and relief activities, and Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps troops are engaged in relief activities in Quetta, Pashin, Qila Saifullah, Ziarat, Zhob, Loralai and Nushki in Balochistan.
Pak Army, FC, PDMA and civil administration teams are shifting people to safe places, providing cooked food and other facilities to the flood victims.
Relief camps have been set up in Naseerabad, Daki and Lasbela areas, free medical camps of army and FC have also been set up in the affected areas. Free medical facilities and free medicines are also being provided to the flood victims.
On the other side, all efforts are being made to restore communication infrastructure as soon as possible, Zhob DI Khan Road has been restored with intra-district, inter-district connectivity.
