Babar Azam leads Pakistan to victory against New Zealand
Christchurch: Pakistan defeated New Zealand by six wickets in the tri-series match on Saturday, restricting Kiwis to 147/8 in 20 overs.
A stunning innings from batsman Mark Chapman lifted New Zealand to 147-8 against Pakistan , however, green shirts chased down the runs required with 10 balls to spare, recording a 6-wicket win.
The national team reached the target in the 19th over with Babar Azam scoring a half-century in the match that was being played at the Hagley Oval stadium in Christchurch.
After choosing to bat first, the Black Caps appeared to be on course for a modest total at Hagley Oval before Chapman´s 32 off 16 balls.
Yesterday, Rizwan anchored the innings and played a match-winning knock, and today Babar Azam lead the team toward an astonishing win.
