Caretaker Punjab CM reviews security arrangements made for PSL

Lahore: Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi Tuesday paid a surprise visit to Punjab Safe Cities Authority in Lahore today, and reviewed the security arrangements made for Pakistan Super League-8 (PSL).

He inspected the monitoring system of security arrangements in Lahore through digital cameras. Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also accompanied the chief minister.

The Chief Minister directed to connect the cameras installed in Rawalpindi and Multan to the Safe City Lahore for the PSL monitoring.

He also directed for best traffic plan by proper use of the intelligent traffic management system.

Mohsin asked the Safe City Authority staff to perform duty with due diligence, dedication and hard work.

Punjab Safe City Authority Managing Director Muhammad Kamran Khan gave detailed briefing on PSL security and surveillance.

The MD further informed the chief minister that technical teams of the Safe City Authority will remain in field round the clock for security purposes.

He was further told that all arrangements had been complete on routes of players and spectators, hotels and stadium.
