PM hails productive phone call with Iranian President

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently had a telephonic conversation with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, which he has described as productive. During their conversation, they discussed various aspects of bilateral relations as well as Israel's human rights violations. In a tweet on Friday, the Prime Minister stated that he congratulated the Iranian President on the historic Iran-KSA deal, which is a positive step towards regional stability.

In his tweet, the Prime Minister wrote, “Had a productive phone call with H.E. Ebrahim Raisi, President of Iran in which we discussed various facets of bilateral relations & Israel's human rights violations. I congratulated him on the historic Iran-KSA deal that augurs well for regional stability & invited him to visit 🇵🇰.”

It is worth noting that the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of bilateral relations and the need to address Israel's human rights violations during his conversation with the Iranian President. The Iranian President's visit to Pakistan could help strengthen ties between the two countries and promote regional stability.
