Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan Friday departed from Zaman Park Lahore—his residence—for hearing in Islamabad High Court (IHC) in the case regarding speaking against military officials.

According to details, the case had been registered in Raman police station. Imran Khan will appear before the court for interim bail.

He has been accompanied with huge convoy of PTI supporters along with security squad.

The former prime minister turned to Twitter and wrote: “Tomorrow I will be appearing before IHC on a most bizarre FIR [First Information Report]”.

He continued to write that it now confirms we are truly under law of the jungle.

The powerful and those who see themselves above the law had an FIR registered against me, said PTI chief.

On the other hand, strict security management is being observed around the premises of IHC. Heavy contingent of police and Frontier Constabulary (FC) had been deployed. Superintendent of Police (SP) Islamabad Nosherwan is monitoring all the security matters.

It is expected that Khan will reach court at 12:00pm.

There are total 31 cases registered against Imran in Islamabad and he has been granted bail in all.

However, the case registered against him in Ramna police station for speaking against military officials is still underway. He was successful to get protective bail from Lahore, but he had not got the interim bail from the relevant authorities.
