The head of the Iranian army, Mohammad Bagheri, stated that if Israel attacked, all of the Jewish government's infrastructure would be destroyed in response.
It is pertinent to note that this statement from Iran's army chief came at a time when Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu threatened to retaliate against Iran and said that Iran would have to pay for its mistake.
Earlier, Iran had fired more than 200 missiles at three military centers in and around Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel.
