Private schools and QAU announced to remain close on Friday
Islamabad: Amid the announced protest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) at D-Chowk in Islamabad, the All Pakistan Private Schools Association has announced that private schools in the capital will remain closed tomorrow (Friday).
The decision has been taken due to the potential disruption and road closures caused by the protest.
Private Schools Association General Secretary Waheed Khan stated in a statement that the safety of students was their top priority.
“Students faced significant challenges on Thursday due to container blockades around the city that made commuting difficult,” Khan said adding that taking precautionary measure, the association decided to close schools to avoid further inconvenience and ensure student safety.
Moreover, Quaid-e-Azam University also announced a closure for tomorrow, issuing an official notification in response to the road blockages. Similarly, the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has also declared a holiday for Friday, with notifications being issued by university administrations.
