Imran to appear in Islamabad court today

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan Thursday left from Zaman Park Lahore for Islamabad to appear in court for nine cases registered against him, GNN reported.

According to details, two-member bench headed by Justice Aamer Farooq would hear the case.

Before leaving for Islamabad, former prime minister said that he has swelling in foot but still is leaving for court appearance in Islamabad as he respects the judiciary of Pakistan. 

In his message he stated: “I have clearly told in Lahore High Court (LHC) that I have been attempted to assassinate twice, once in Wazirabad and second in Judicial Complex”.

Imran Khan made a call for everyone to come out in their localities on 5:30pm, Saturday for an hour to show solidarity with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Atta Bandial.

Khan announced that he is again organizing four rallies in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Peshawar for CJP and constitution of Pakistan.
