Lahore: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore Thursday extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, leaders Fawad Chaudhry, Hamad Azhar, Farrukh Habib and others till May 16 in Zaman Park vandalism and violence against police cases, GNN reported.

According to details, Judge Ejaz Ahmed Bhuttan heard the case and extended their interim bail also till May 16.

Imran Khan’s lawyer filed a petition for exemption from attendance in which it was stated that Khan has to appear in Islamabad High Court (IHC) in nine cases, therefore exemption should be granted in one hearing.

The judge Ejaz Ahmed Bhuttan inquired PTI leader Hammad Azhar about the next date of hearing. To which he responded there are elections on May 14, then we have to appear in Islamabad court on May 17. Therefore you can give the date after this.

Ejaz Ahmed asked: “Are elections taking place on May 14”? Azhar responded that according to law it has to take place, otherwise I cannot say anything about the government.

Talking to media Hammad said: “Our bails have been approved in very weird cases and all of them are fake”.

Farrukh Habib stated: “Imran Khan is the biggest target,” and we have been targeted for worst cases in fascist government.

PTI leaders continued that fake cases against Imran khan are also part of vengeance as they “cannot compete the popularity graph” of Imran Khan.

Imran khan who had no cases four months back, now has 140 cases registered against him.
