Imran Ismail has been named for involvement in vandalism case of May 9.


Karachi: Former governor of Sindh and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Ismail has been arrested on Friday.
According to details, the former governor was arrested from Defence Phase-VIII Karachi from the premises of Darakhshan police station.
It is stated that Imran Ismail has been named for involvement in vandalism case of May 9.
Since the arrest of PTI chairman Imran Khan by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on May 9, PTI workers observed protests around the country. It is alleged that the building of Radio Pakistan Peshawar was set on fire by the protesters.
On the other hand, various PTI leaders Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rashid, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Dr. Shireen Mazari and others have been arrested.
