Islamabad: An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 on Richter Scale hit different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Islamabad.
According to the Seismological Center, earthquake tremors were felt in different areas of Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan (GB), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) including Swat, Lower Dir, Chitral, Swabi, Malakand and Ghazar.
The epicenter of the earthquake was Afghanistan-Tajikistan border area and the depth was 90 kilometers (km).
Due to the earthquake, panic spread among the people who got out of the buildings reciting Holy verses. However no human or property damage have been reported as yet.
