Journalist Imran Riaz not produced before court
Chief Justice remarked that God forbid if anything wrong happens to the journalist, I would fix everyone.
Lahore: Senior journalist and anchorperson Imran Riaz Khan has not been recovered and produced before Lahore High Court (LHC) even after court’s order, GNN reported.
According to details, Chief Justice Ameer Bhatti of LHC heard the case filed by Imran Riaz’s father.
He inquired Inspector General (IG) Punjab that what efforts they made to recover Imran Riaz. To which IG responded that they have investigated with the police of whole Pakistan and Imran is with none of them.
Chief Justice remarked that God forbid if anything wrong happens to the journalist, I would fix everyone.
The court granted another chance to the police to search for the anchorperson Imran again and produce him before the court, however any timeline has not been defined in the form of written verdict.
