Rawalpindi: Pakistan Army Major Mian Abdullah Shah who embraced martyrdom in an encounter with terrorists in Khyber district, was laid to rest in Ziarat Sheikh Allah Dad area of Tehsil Gumbat, Kohat today.

A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a salute to the coffin of the martyred officer.
On Wednesday, Three soldiers including Naib Subedar Sahib Khan, Naik Muhammad Ibrahim and Sepoy Jehangir Khan embraced martyrdom when a vehicle borne suicide bomber exploded himself at Miran Shah in North Waziristan District.
According to ISPR, the suicide bomber intended targeting the security forces' post, however, timely interception of the suicide bomber on suspicion by on-duty soldiers prevented a major catastrophe.
Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
