Twitter takes legal action against the launch of the Threads app by Meta.
California: Twitter has initiated formal legal proceedings against the launch of the Threads app by Meta.
It is evident that within a few days, the user base of the Threads app has already surpassed 100 million users.
According to Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, Meta not only hired former Twitter employees but also used the company's technical secrets to develop their Threads app.
In a tweet, Musk referred to Threads as a "copy-paste" version of his app.
Twitter, in response, has demanded that Meta immediately cease the use of any information associated with Twitter's intellectual property and refrain from using highly confidential information.
Twitter's statement emphasized that legal action would be taken if no action is taken.
In response, Meta has categorically dismissed all allegations, stating that no Twitter employees are currently working for the company.
