"The governments in the world usually feel ashamed while seeking loans, but the current Pakistani government is considering receiving loans as its achievement.", says Sheikh Rasheed.

Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed came hard on the government for celebrating the loan agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Sunday. ]
Rasheed stated on Twitter, "The governments in the world usually feel ashamed while seeking loans, but the current Pakistani government is considering receiving loans as its achievement."
Ahmed criticized the coalition, claiming that during the 15 months of the [Shehbaz] government, the cost of power, gas, bread, and sugar had increased and that any efforts to restart the nation's economy would be "futile."
The seasoned politician made fun of [Shehbaz Sharif] by claiming that he took the oath of as Prime Minister of Pakistan on the day that he was charged with money laundering, that he was exonerated in those instances, and that he has since "committed" a money laundering crime in the solar energy sector for Rs70 billion.
Sheikh predicted that the rulers, who were only thinking about their own offspring, would meet a [disastrous] end because they were unaware of how far the people had fallen into poverty.
The AML chief said the world won't accept any "rigged" and "compromised" elections, fearing the country's political reputation would be at stake like economic reputation currently at stake.
According to him, earning the hearts of the populace was how one earned respect, not by sitting in the government.
