More than 250 passports and several stamps were also recovered during the raid.


Karachi: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) anti-human smuggling cell on Tuesday has arrested two smugglers from Karachi.
According to reports, the FIA arrested two people traffickers during a search on a phony travel agency business in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.
The human smugglers were identified as Kashif Raza and Muhammad Raheel. More than 250 passports and several stamps were also recovered during the raid.
Further investigation is in progress, and people traffickers have been placed on a four-day detention. Raids are being carried out to capture other suspects.
Earlier, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday arrested human trafficker Altaf Hussain from the Karachi’s Clifton area.
According to the FIA official, the accused Altaf Hussain collected money to send the citizen abroad to Canada.
“The accused demanded Rs5 million to send the citizen to Canada and received Rs1.6 million from the victim,” the FIA spokesperson stated.
An Emigration and Smuggling of Migrants Act complaint has been filed against the accused Rizwan, according to an FIA official.
