Karachi: Pakistani cricketer Shahnawaz Dahani became a singer after performing live at a ceremony.
Dahani's teammate Hassan Ali originally uploaded the footage on social media.

The pacer was discovered singing the popular 90s song 'Jab koi baat bigar jaye'. He missed the scale and didn't even follow the music beat; therefore, the song was sung terribly.
Dahani was enjoying the music while reading the lyrics on his phone.
The video went viral, but not in a good way, as netizens warned the national star not to perform again.
“Please take back the mic from Dahani,” one social media user said. Another one posted that Pakistan got another star after Chahat Fateh Ali Khan-the singer known for his poor singing skills.
Dahani had previously performed in the native language with children in Zimbabwe.
In November 2021, Dahani made his international debut for the Pakistan national cricket team.
