Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday set for hearing the petition to restore the right of defense to Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan in Toshakhana case.

According to details, Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq will hear the appeal on August 10 to restore the right of defense.

The court has issued a notice to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and sought its response.

It is pertinent to note that the trial court had terminated the right of defense of Chairman PTI in the Toshakhana case. The court had declared the list of witnesses on behalf of Chairman PTI irrelevant.

Imran Khan has filed an application in IHC for permission to produce witnesses.
