Expressing his good wishes, the Governor said the appointment of caretaker Prime Minister from Balochistan will strengthen the federation.


Islamabad: Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah on Tuesday called on caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Islamabad on Tuesday and congratulated him on assuming the office.
Expressing his good wishes, the Governor said the appointment of caretaker Prime Minister from Balochistan will strengthen the federation.
The Prime Minister thanked the Governor Gilgit-Baltistan for his good wishes.
The Governor Gilgit-Baltistan invited the Prime Minister to visit Gilgit-Baltistan and address the Legislative Assembly.
The Governor Gilgit-Baltistan informed the Prime Minister about the ongoing development projects in Gilgit, including infrastructure projects and progress on Karakoram University and also invited him for their inauguration.
In a separate development, Former Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan and Ali Mardan Domki called on caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Islamabad on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they congratulated Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on assuming the responsibilities and expressed best wishes for him.
