However, the two leaders were prevented from leaving Islamabad and making statements to the media.

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Wednesday suspended the detention orders and allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Shehryar Afridi and Shandana Gulzar to go home.
According to details, there has been major progress in the case of abuse of authority by issuing Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) orders regarding detention.
The court suspended the detention orders of Shehryar Afridi and Shandana Gulzar, however, the two leaders were prevented from leaving Islamabad and making statements to the media.
Islamabad court declared Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) response to the ongoing show cause notice as unsatisfactory. It decided to initiate contempt of court proceedings against DC Islamabad.
The court also decided to indict the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) operations while ordering show cause notices to both the relevant Station House Officer (SHO) and District Police Officer (DPO).
Justice Babar Sattar remarked during the hearing that do you people think that everyone is blind? Who met Shehryar Afridi in Adiala Jail? Details were also sought from the superintendent of the jail.
The court inquired the DC if he has submitted his reply to the show cause. Shahryar Afridi was sitting in jail and inciting violence, if anyone was arrested among them. To which Inspector General (IG) Islamabad said that we will go after the mastermind.
Justice Babar said that what was read was making fun of the police system, decide whether the country should be run under the constitution or not.
