The divisional bench will hear the appeal against the sentence of former prime minister.


Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan's appeal against sentence in Tosha Khana case has been fixed for hearing.
According to details, hearing on the appeal against the punishment of Chairman PTI will be held in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on August 22.
The divisional bench will hear the appeal against the sentence of former prime minister. The two-member bench will comprise of Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Jahangiri.
Notably, earlier on August 05, Sessions Judge Islamabad Humayun Babar sentenced PTI chief Chairman Imran Khan to three years imprisonment and a fine of Rs100,000 in the Tosha Khana case. After which he was arrested from Zaman Park Lahore on the same day and transferred to Attock Jail.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had filed a petition in the court against the trial court's decision and transfer of Imran Khan from Attock Jail to Adiala Jail.
IHC has also allowed Imran Khan's family members and lawyers to meet him in Attock Jail. Yesterday (Tuesday) wife of Imran—Bushra Bibi— met him in Attock Jail for about two hours.
