Veteran Bollywood actress Seema Dev passes away
The actress was battling with Alzheimer's disease for the past three years and passed away at her residence.


Mumbai: Renowned senior actress Seema Dev, known for her contributions to the Bollywood film industry, has breathed her last at the age of 81.
According to reports from Indian media, the beloved actress's son and Bollywood film producer, Abhiney Dev, confirmed the news of his mother's passing.
He mentioned that she had passed away today and was suffering from Alzheimer's disease, though she was otherwise fine.
Reports indicate that the senior actress had been battling Alzheimer's disease for the past three years and passed away at her residence.
Seema Dev was a notable figure in both Hindi and Marathi cinema, having worked in over 80 films during her illustrious career.
Her legacy encompasses a wide range of performances and roles that have left a lasting impact on the industry.
Her last on-screen appearance was in the Marathi film "June Sindhuia," set to be released in 2021.
Seema Dev's legacy extends beyond her acting career, as she is survived by two sons who are also associated with the Indian film industry.
