Residents of Christian colony, Rawalpindi, abandon homes overnight amid arson rumors.

Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi's Christian colony, located in the Dhok Syedan area, was gripped with fear as rumors of house arson spread, prompting residents to vacate the neighborhood overnight.
In response to unverified rumors of planned house burnings, the inhabitants of the colony hastily deserted their residences during the night, with members of the Christian community leaving with their families and children.
According to the police, the rumor of arson was reportedly spread by some miscreants in Dhok Syedan's Christian Colony, instigating a property dispute between two factions within the Christian community.
The situation in the area is currently stable, as affirmed by the police.
Both local police presence and senior police officers are actively investigating the matter in Rawalpindi's jurisdiction.
A police spokesperson strongly refuted the baseless rumors that circulated on social media, ensuring that the Rawalpindi police are committed to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens.
