The PTI chairman asks the court to pass an order to stop the police and the NAB from arresting him in any other case.


Islamabad: The former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking order for the police and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to prevent any potential arrests in his ongoing legal battles.
Imran Khan approached the high court through his counsel Salman Safdar and implored the court to intervene and prevent his arrest in any impending cases.
The PTI chairman also asked the court for an expedited hearing of his plea.
There is a major hurdle in the release of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan after the sentence was suspended and released on bail in the Toshakhana case.
According to details, the cipher case stands in the way Imran Khan’s release as he is already on judicial remand till August 30 in this case.
Islamabad's Secret Act Court Judge Abu Al-Hasanat sent former Prime Minister Imran Khan to jail on judicial remand summoning him in personal capacity on August 30.
Special Court Judge Abu Al-Hasanat has ordered the Superintendent of Attock Jail to produce Chairman PTI.
Imran Khan is on judicial remand since August 15 in the cypher case.
